Police say a teenager’s Instagram post showing off expensive jewelry and cash lured armed men to a Northeast Philadelphia apartment.

The burglars, armed with pistols, kicked down the front door of an apartment in the Somerton section Sunday about 2:30 a.m., police said.

The burglars were looking for flashy watches and other goods the 19-year-old resident had taken photos of then posted to Instagram. At least one was reportedly an acquaintance of the teen.

One of the residents was able to run to the bathroom and call police during the episode.

Before police arrived, though, all three escaped through a back window.

    Nobody was injured.

Authorities say the burglars, who were wearing ski masks, got away with a Rolex watch and two gold chains. They’re still at large, though police say they left their pistols in the apartment.
