As April comes to a close, so does Philadelphia’s Jazz Appreciation Month

Over the weekend, JAM promoter and trombonist, Ernest Stuart closed out this year’s month of events with a performance at Center City’s MilkBoy.

But that’s no reason to put away the fedora. Performers are on stage each week at local venues all around the city. This year also marks the 15th anniversary of Smooth Jazz Summer Nights at Penn’s Landing when the popular series returns each Friday in August.

Check back on Monday at NewsWorks.org for a photo gallery of highlights from the Jazz Appreciation Month finale.
