Arrest made in string of West Oak Lane, East Oak Lane robberies

Terrence Harper was arrested on Sunday for multiple robberies that took place in West Oak Lane and East Oak Lane.

Harper was identified when he attempted to sell stolen jewelry. He entered Golden Rose Jewelry, 3641 Germantown Ave., on Dec. 14 and tried to sell a stolen ring.

Police were called once the ring was recognized and Harper was immediately arrested. Harper was later identified as the suspect in the following robberies: Family Dollar Store, 6337 N. Broad St. on Dec. 13 at 9:15 p.m. and Dec. 15 at 9:58 p.m. and the Whisper Inn, 7610 Ogontz Avenue, on Dec. 18, at 12:16 p.m.

Harper is 39 years old and is from the 7700 block of Temple Road. He is charged with multiple robberies and related offenses.
