Armed robbery outside Christiana Mall
A mall worker was robbed at gunpoint in the mall parking lot around 10 last night.
State Police say the woman was inside her car when a young man came up and started a conversation through her partially opened window. That’s when he took out a gun and demanded the woman’s purse. She gave it to him, and he took off.
The victim, a woman from Philadelphia, was not hurt. Police describe the suspect as a black male with a dark complexion, 21-23 years old, 6’0″ to 6’3″ tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, dark jeans and black shoes.
