    Children’s Dino Tile Workshop

    Kids will have fun painting ceramics tiles in this one day workshop inspired by the exhibition Dinotopia: The Fantastical Art of James Gurney. After touring and exploring Dinotopia, students will work in the ceramics studio creating one-of-a-kind tiles. (Finished tiles will be available for pick-up on the following Saturday.)     May Day Nature Walk

    members and visitors are invited to join us on our Hagley May Day Walk to celebrate spring. This walk is free to members, and included with regular admission. Cost is $5 for the walk only. This event begins at 10 a.m. at the Power Plant, where we will offer three separate walking tours led by experts on wildflowers, birds, and natural history. Hagley Museum and Library, May 1, 10 a.m.

    Floral Fun at Dover Days

    Create beautiful flowers that will never wilt out of tissue paper at the Biggs Museum during Dover Days. Help the Biggs Museum decorate for the 2010 Biggs Museum Gala: An Affair with the Arts by creating one for yourself and one for the Museum! Flowers made during Dover Days will be arranged as the centerpieces for the 2010 Gala and will be sold at the event to benefit the monthly Biggs Kids and Mini-Masters programs. Supplies provided.     Pre-school Story Time!

    Preschoolers are invited to join us for a time of laughter and fun. Granny Franny will visit the library on the first and third Thursdays of every month with her dulcimer, stories, crafts, and treats. Visit with Miss Hilary and a variety of performers, and enjoy arts, crafts, science, and math activities on other Thursdays. All programs sure to send your child home with a smile.
