Classic Albums Live takes the classic rock albums you love and recreates them live, on stage – note for note, cut for cut. Founded in 2003 by Craig Martin, the show has become the ultimate destination for music lovers wanting to hear the greatest albums performed live without all the gimmickry and cheesy impersonations. The Grand, April 21st, 8 P.M.

Serafin String Quartet performs for Opening Night of this new Arts & culture Series! For this inaugural program, the Serafins will be joined by noted pianist, Charles Abramovic and outstanding bassoonist, Eric Stomberg. The concert features an all-time favorite, the Schumann Piano Quintet, the first string quartet written by Beethoven (Op. 18#3), and works from the Serafins’ upcoming recording project, scheduled for release in 2012 by Naxos, featuring the early chamber works for strings by Pulitzer Prize and Grammy Award winning composer Jennifer Higdon. Trinity Episcopal Church, April 21st, 7:30 P.M.

 

Smyrna’s Got Voice – Finale!

Art Rocks Science! EXPO

On Earth Day, 2012, the Rehoboth Art league will host Delaware’s first satellite event to the USA Science and Engineering Festival. Attendees will tackle fun art explorations to unleash the real world power of art and creativity in hands-on innovation. This fun and engaging EXPO is in support of the national STEM initiative which uses Art to teach core Science, Math, Technology and Engineering. Rehoboth Art League, April 22nd, 11 A.M.
