Another victim hit by train in Delaware

For the second time in about a week, police in Newark are investigating a train accident, this time it resulted in death.

A man was walking along the tracks around 11 a.m. Friday in the area behind the BJ’s store in Pencader Plaza.  It’s not clear why the man was walking in the area.  State Police are investigating.

Last Thursday, a woman narrowly escaped getting hit by a train in Newark after getting lost and accidentally driving onto the tracks.  She was pulled out of her car by two people passing by just before her car was demolished by the train.
