Andrews will repay campaign fund for $9,000 trip to Scotland

U.S. Rep. Rob Andrews says he’ll pay back the $9,000 he took from his campaign fund for his family to attend a wedding in Scotland.

The New Jersey rep said he took the money from his campaign because the wedding was that of an important donor. Now he’s singing a different tune.

The Gloucester County Times reports Andrews, 54, will put that money back in the campaign fund and donate to a charity for homeless veterans.

Andrews says he used person funds to pay for non-campaign-related parts of the trip.
