Amber alert over for missing Delaware boy

    A three year old New Castle County boy taken from his father’s home early Tuesday morning has been found.

    New Castle County Police have found a three year old boy allegedly  abducted from his Stanton home just before 2:30am Tuesday morning.

    Police had issued an Amber Alert for Brian Kenney.  They are also looking for the boy’s mother Ashlie Stumbers.  Both were found at a home in the 700 block of  East 5th Street just after noon.

    The boy’s father told police three gunmen broke into his home in Murray Manor Trailer Park.  The father, whose name is not being released by county police, says he was beaten by the gunmen.  He passed out, and when he woke up, the boy was gone.

    She does not have custody of the boy.  Police put out the Amber Alert after the father told them Stumbers, 24, was involved in the abduction.

    County police worked with over a dozen FBI agents  and members of the Federal Marshal’s office.   County Police Spokesman Trinidad Navarro expects to have more information later in the afternoon.
