Amber Alert issued for child last seen in Center City

The Philadelphia Police have just issued an Amber Alert for a child last seen in Center City:

“The Philadelphia Police Department is searching for Kanief Dandy, a 19 month old black male with black hair, brown eyes, 32 inches in length, 30 pounds, wearing black jeans and a red thermal shirt with gray sleeves.  He was last seen at 1515 Arch Street, Philadelphia on October 5, 2011 at 4 PM.
He was abducted by his mother Natia Dandy, 34 year old black female, brown hair, brown eyes,  5 foot 6 inches in height, 170 pounds.  She was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white sweater, and a black scarf on her head.  She fled on foot with the child while pushing a black stroller.Anyone with information about the abduction should immediately contact the police by calling 911.  For more information goto www.amber.state.pa.us.”
