Allergy season in full force this year

Hang on tight, it’s almost over. If you think your allergies have been especially bad this year, you might be right. Experts say tree pollen and mold are up this year in many regions of the country, making you itchier, sneezier and ultimately more miserable.

Dr. Wiliam Reisacher, director of the allergy center at New York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York City, tells the Association Press there’s relief available. Before you hit the drug store, try shutting the bedroom windows to keep pollen out in the morning, when the count is as its highest, and don’t toss the clothes you wore outside on the bed.

If all else fails, just know that everyone pretty much everyone else is suffering, too.
