Allegiance no more

Someone’s gotta be first. The first Pennsylvania bank to fail this year, Allegiance Bank of North American will reopen Monday as VIST.
The Bala Cynwyd-based bank appointed the Federal Deposit Insurance Corp. as its receiver. The FDIC subsequently agreed with Wyomising’s VIST Bank to turn over Allegiance’s $92 million in deposits and nearly all of its $106.6 million in assests, the Inquirer reports.

Allegiance customer aren’t expected to run into any trouble accessing their accounts during the weekend branding switch.
