All residential zones in Abington now have 25mph speed limit
As of yesterday, all of Abington Township’s residential zones have a 25mph speed limit.
That state law already existed, but the township ordinance means signs don’t have to be posted everywhere.
The Board of Commissioners approved the measure Aug. 11, the Glenside News Globe Times Chronicle reports, and the ordinance took effect yesterday. Signs will be posted where commissioners and residents see fit.
