Airing PPD grievances

A judge ruled in favor of The Philadelphia Daily News on Thursday that will make public nearly 200 police grievance arbitration decisions.

The arbitration decisions, 47 of nearly 200 which have already been released, reveal everything from serious criminal charges against cops who were fired and won their jobs back to internal disciplinary actions and allegations of drunk-driving and theft.

For details on some of the first 47 records released, check out the reporting of Barbara Laker, Chris Brennan, and Wendy Ruderman.
