Adventure group organizes game of flashlight tag

William Penn designed the city’s squares for flashlight tag. Didn’t you know? Of course in those days, Penn chased surveyor Thomas Holme around with a candle, but you get the idea.

Adventure group Get Out Philly is reigniting its flashlight tag game in Washington Square Park. The December event proved a bit chilly, so the next game is set for April, when the temp could be 40 or 80, but the game is still frustrating.

All you need is a light and a couple bucks to keep the group funded. A plus but not required: Mission Impossible-like maneuvering skills.
