‘Adultery’ billboard model joins those protesting placement
Even the woman whose picture is on a controversial billboard next to I-95 claims she doesn’t want it up.
The billboard for the website ArrangementFinders.com can be seen along northbound Interstate 95 near Allegheny Avenue.
The slogan is “Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery” with the “Not” crossed out with a red X. The website offers various “dating” options.
Nearly a dozen clergy members and Philadelphia pastors took part in a protest last week against the billboard.
Bree Olson, the model on the billboard, is a former adult film star who says she’s a legitimate actress now. Olson may be the company’s paid spokeswoman, but says she never approved the billboard wording.
“I was very disappointed to see that ad, and that billboard is not something I am proud of. Being a woman that’s been cheated on that hits really close to home,” she said. “I find it disturbing and inappropriate and I don’t think infidelity is right at all.”
Olson says she learned about the billboard through social media.
“My first news of it was the same as when everyone else seen it,” she said. “I had a fan off Twitter tweet me a picture of it.”
The website referred all questions about the billboard to Olson, and the billboard company did not respond to calls for comment.
