Ackerman says full-day kindergarten will stay

School District Superintendent Arlene Ackerman announced at an afternoon press conference that full-day kindergarten will stay. WHYY’s Tom MacDonald reports this is thanks to Title I grant dollars through a state waiver. Inquirer education writer Kristen Graham tweets the fix is a permanent one for the District.

Tom will have full details from the news conference later.
