2nd Delaware abortion doc suspended for dealings with Gosnell

Delaware’s State Department and the Board Medical Licensure and Discipline have yanked the license of Arturo Apolinario, Delaware Online reports.

Apolinario, who has worked as the medical director of a Delaware abortion provider, apparently participated in unsafe patient transfers initiated by Dr. Kermit Gosnell, the now infamous Philadelphia abortion doc charged with murdering babies in what were to have been late-term abortions.

Gosnell routinely transferred patients after these abortions, and Apolinario participated in the transfers, which a state official said posed a “grave risk” to patients.
