AAA Mid-Atlantic: N.J. gas prices still falling

Motorists continue to see lower prices at the pumps in New Jersey.

AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of a gallon of regular gasoline in the state on Friday was $3.49, down a penny from last week. But that’s still higher than the price from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.43.

This marks the third straight week that gas prices have fallen in New Jersey.

The national average price was $3.67, up 2 cents from last week. But that’s just a penny more than the national average from a year ago, when motorists were paying $3.66.
