A trash pile prevents serious injury in the three-story fall of a toddler

A one-year-old child is recovering at St. Christopher’s Hospital after falling from a three-story window on Saturday morning.

According to philly.com, the child, who fell from a window on the 4900 block of North 12th Street in the city’s Logan section, is in stable condition.

Police say that the fall is still under investigation, but a trash pile located in the alley below the window prevented more serious injury.
