A mainly pleasant week ahead

Tranquil weather will continue through Wednesday. Mostly sunny, with high temperatures around 60 and overnight lows in the low 40s (cooler north, warmer south).
With a warm southwest flow, we’re going to be even warmer on Halloween, when temperatures will be in the mid 60s (slightly cooler north). And on Friday, those temperatures will spike to around 70 degrees, dropping to the mid 60s for next weekend.
As for precipitation, there’s a chance of showers late Thursday through Saturday morning, when a cold front will pass through the region.
Halloween appears to be ok at this point, with the bulk of the rain activity Friday and early Saturday. It’s not a storm — just a typical cold front passage.
