With the holiday season upon us, we summon the sounds of Christmas with The Crossing, the Philadelphia-based choir dedicated to contemporary music.

Co-founder and conductor Donald Nally brought four of the group’s usual two dozen singers — tenor Stephen Bradshaw, baritone Robbie Eisentrout, mezzo-soprano Maren Montalbano, and soprano Rebecca Siler — to WHYY to sing and talk with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller.

    Listen to their performance below.

The Crossing will perform “The Crossing @ Christmas” Friday at the Church of the Holy Trinity in Center City Philadelphia and, on Saturday, at Christ Church Christiana Hundred in Wilmington, Delaware.
