99th annual Fourth of July parade rolls through Chestnut Hill [photos]

As they do every year, local residents headed to the Water Tower Recreation Center in Chestnut Hill to celebrate Independence Day.

The day started off with a recitation of the Pledge of Allegiance and was followed by a decorated bike parade. Awards were given out for best decorated bikes to kids of all ages.

After that, the day continued with games, contests, races, face painting and a magic show.
