$85 in cash stolen from Rite Aid in Chestnut Hill

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in a robbery that took place in Chestnut Hill on Jan. 11 at 4:50 p.m. An unknown male entered Rite Aid, 7700 Crittenden St., and proceeded to buy a soda. After placing the soda on the counter, the suspect went behind the counter to demand money from the employee at the cash register.

The employee jumped over the counter to run from the suspect. The suspect took $85 in cash from the cash register.

The suspect is described as a black male between 35 and 45. He is between 5’11” and 6’2″ with a medium build and dark complexion. He was last seen wearing a black puffy jacket, black skull cap, gray pants, and dark sun glasses.
