7th and 8th Districts cohost burglary seminars

Capt. Joseph Zaffino of the 7th District and Capt. Deborah Kelly of the 8th District have announced the districts will cosponsor seminars/luncheons to help residents address burglary problems. The first meeting is set for Monday, Feb. 21.Along with 7th and 8th PDAC chairs Mike Myers and Harry Sonntag, the captains will provide attendees with tips and valuable information to help them avoid becoming burglary victims.

The monthly Burglary Seminars will cater to both districts, but alternate locations each month. After each meeting, attendees will be given a numbered security decal personalized with the corresponding district logo, which they can place in the window of their homes or businesses to help thwart burglars.

The first meeting is Monday, Feb. 21 at 11:30 a.m. at Cannstatter’s, 9130 Academy Rd. The luncheon is free, but those wishing to attend must RSVP to 8th District Community Relations Officer Rudy Muller at via email or at 215-685-9377.
