79 year old charged with child rape
New Castle County Police have charged 79 year old Frank Williams of New Castle with five counts of sexual abuse of a child and one count of continuous sexual abuse of a child.
Police say they first started the investigation after getting a report about a sexual assault involving a seven year old child from Christiana Hospital on January 28. Police say Williams was connected to the alleged assault, but in order to protect the identity of the victim, they’re not saying much more about the case than that.
Williams is in Wilmington’s Young Correctional Institute on $300,000 cash bail. He’s been ordered not to have contact with anyone under the age of 18.
