400 block Wigard Ave. – complainant, an employee of ABC Inc., said someone stole a hammer drill, chop saw and two, 20 foot copper pipes from an area that includes TV/radio towers.

August 3, 2011

4200 block Main St. – $500 in cash and two blank TD Bank checks stolen from Pitchers Pub. Police responded to a burglary alarm at the location at 3:06 a.m. and found a small register on the ground, blood on the steps and a bloody T-shirt near the Towpath.

5000 block Ridge Ave. – catalytic converter stolen from a 2011 grey Toyota Tacoma between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 3.

500 block Gates St. – gold wedding band and a gold engagement ring with a diamond were stolen from the property between 6:30 p.m. July 29 and 8:30 p.m. Aug. 2.

 

August 4, 2011

600 block Maris St. – platinum diamond ring stolen from the property. Complainant said she heard people upstairs while she was in her basement. She then noticed someone had entered her home through the front door and taken the item.

 

August 5, 2011

4200 block Cresson St. – tan purse containing a pink wallet, various credit cards and an ID was stolen from a 2001 Ford Escape between 10:30 a.m. and 12 p.m. Aug. 5.

 

August 6. 2011

7800 block Nixon St. – purse, iPod, credit cards and a PA driver’s license stolen from a 1997 Mercury Tracer between 2:15-4:15 p.m. Aug. 6.
