5 New Jersey cities in line for transitional aid

For the second year in a row, the City of Camden is slated to receive $61 million in transitional aid from New Jersey.

CBS 3 reports five cities in New Jersey will receive the aid, including Camden, if the Christie administration and legislators can agree on the terms for how the program is administered.

According to CBS 3, the $61 million in aid is $8 million less than last year.

The state is set to give out $117 million in total to assist towns that have been dependent on the aid.
