Shrek! The Musical at Upper Darby’s Summer Stage

Saturday, August 2
Head to the water for the Southeast Asian Dragonboat Festival. Southeast Asian Dragonboat Festival on Saturday, August 2 from noon to 7 p.m. Head down to the Great Plaza at Penn’s Landing and the Marina at Penn’s Landing for daylong fun including entertainment and racing.
Sharpen those skills (excuse the pun) and get ready for school with a build-your-own pencil holder. Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to create the free craft and receive an apron for future building. Register ahead online. 9 a.m. to noon
Take your tween or teen to enjoy the uber-popular “Pitch Perfect” under the stars. The free outdoor screenings happens at the Trolley Car Diner (7601 Germantown Ave.) at 8:30 p.m. Bring a blanket and chairs. Singing voice welcome, but not required.
