    Saturday and Sunday: The Science Behind PixarExplore the science behind the creation of some of your favorite Pixar characters! The Franklin Institute’s interactive exhibit is a must see for those interested in learning the fascinating aspects of computer animation production. See link for schedule and ticket prices.

    Saturday: Fairmount Waterworks TourJoin other local families for a free tour of Fairmount Waterworks. Tour this National Historic Landmark inside and out and explore the history of Philadelphia water. 1 to 2 p.m.. Free, pre-registration encouraged.

    Sunday: Flower Show JamboreeEnjoy family-friendly fun all day long at the Philadelphia Flower Show. This years show explores America’s iconic national parks through acres of stunning displays. 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

    Saturday and Sunday: Women’s History MonthCelebrate Women’s History Month at the Constitution Center. Discover important moments in women’s history through interactive activities and a special tour. Saturday 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday noon to 5 p.m. Free with Museum admission.

    It’s all about fungus at The Schuylkill Center on Saturday! Hunt for mushrooms on the trails, enjoy performances and other fungus fun. Pre registration encouraged $12, 1 to 3 p.m.
