3100 block N. Patton St. – a woman was murdered. Police found the complainant lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at 12:01 a.m. July 12.

1400 block W. Clearfield St. – a man was murdered. Police found the complainant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

July 8, 2011

4200 block Ridge Ave. – complainant said two men robbed the store at gunpoint. Complainant said offenders told him to head into a back room. They then stole $235 and an Android phone before fleeing the scene.

W. School House Lane – wallet stolen from a 2007 Jeep Liberty between 8 a.m. and 4:10 p.m.

3600 block Merrick Road – 1997 Honda Accord stolen between 8 p.m. July 7 and 6:45 a.m. July 8.

500 block King St. – complainant said a known offender choked her after pulling out a knife and stating, “You’re not leaving me.” Complainant then grabbed a knife to defend herself. Offender then grabbed her hand and was cut on his right hand. Offender was arrested.

3300 block N. 22nd St. – keys, papers and a laptop stolen from a 2007 Toyota Camry between 9-11:30 p.m. July 7.

2100 block Toronto St. – complainant said a woman hit her in the face with an unknown object. She said the blow knocked her front teeth out and fractured her nose. Complaiant was taken to the hospital.

 

July 9, 2011

300 block Winona St. – jar of change containing approx. $500 and $220 in cash stolen from the property between 8:15-8:45 a.m. July 7. There were no signs of a forced entry. Complainant did not call police at the time of the incident.

100 block Hansberry St. – complainant noticed he was shot in the back after hearing approximately five or six gun shots at the location. Complainant taken to the hospital and was listed in stable condition.

3200 block N. Broad St. – radio stolen from a 1999 Mercedes Benz between 7-9:15 a.m. July 9.

2100 block W. Indiana Ave. – 1994 Ford Taurus stolen between 6 p.m. July 6 and 7 p.m. July 8.

 

July 10, 2011

Unit block Reger St. – a witness said a male offender cut her brother’s face with a pocket knife while the complainant was trying to break up a fight between his girlfriend and the offender’s girlfriend. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

5400 block Wissahickon Ave. – PA driver’s license, two debit cards, medical cards and $300 in cash stolen from a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix between 2:15-6:15 a.m.

3400 block N. Carlisle St. – GPS and charger stolen from a 2010 Ford Fusion between 4-11:50 a.m. July 10.

1500 block W. Westmoreland St. – $1800 money order, 42″ Sanyo TV, clothing and CDs stolen from a 2008 Chevy Impala between 1:30-8:30 a.m. July 10.

3300 block N. Smedley St. – complainant said a known offender struck her in the side of the face with a glass plate. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

 

July 11, 2011

5700 block Morris St. – complainant said his neighbor threatened to stab him after he asked the offender to turn down his music. Offender was later arrested.

5500 block Wissahickon Ave. – four bracelets, necklace and $200 stolen from a 2004 Kia Spectra between 12-8 a.m. July 11.

5200 block Wayne Ave. – complainant said a known offender bit him on the right forearm and scratched him on the left side of his waist after pointing a BB gun at him. Complainant said he was asleep when the woman came in through a window and grabbed the gun. Offender was arrested.

3100 block N. Patton St. a woman was murdered. Police found the complainant lying on the ground with a gunshot wound to the head. She was pronounced dead at 12:01 a.m. July 12.

3100 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – complainant said a man placed a gun at his back and stole his 2006 Buick Lucerne.

5100 block Pulaski Ave. – complainant said a man mugged her. She said the offender approached her from behind, stuck an unknown object in her back and said, “Give me your purse”. Offender then fled the scene with $20.

5500 block Wissahickon Ave. – acoustic guitar stolen from the property between 5-6 p.m. July 10. Complainant said he was moving furniture out of his apartment with another man at the time. He said the item was missing afterwards.

2900 block W. Wishart St. – complainant said his sister punched him, threw lighter fluid at him and attempted to stab him with a knife. Complainant sustained a small puncture wound to the right arm. Offender was arrested.

4300 block Wissahickon Ave. – scrap metal stolen from a SEPTA dumpster. Police arrested two offenders who attempted to flee the scene in a gray pickup truck.

1900 block W. Erie Ave. – complainant said her ex-boyfriend put a gun to her head and said, “I’ll blow your head off if you say anything.”

1900 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – Acer laptop and clothing stolen from the property.

1900 block W. Hunting Park Ave. – brown box containing four HDMI cords was stolen from a 2009 Ford.

N. 20th St. / W. Tioga St. – Apple iPhone stolen from a 2009 Toyota Rav-4 between 8:10-9:30 p.m.

1400 block W. Clearfield St. a man was murdered. Police found the complainant suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Complainant was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

2700 block N. Broad St. – 25 pallets of metal and 10 metal magnets stolen from the property between 5 p.m. June 28 and 3 p.m. July 11.

2800 block N. 25th St. – firearm was stolen from the property.

2500 block W. Indiana Ave. – Dell laptop, hair and a DVD/CD kit stolen from a 2004 Cadillac Escalade between 11:30 p.m. July 10 and 1 p.m. July 11.

 

July 12, 2011

300 block W. Queen Lane – pistol was stolen from the property. Complainant said she saw the firearm approx. four months ago. She said other family members have access to the apartment.

5200 block Wayne Ave. – 2002 Ford Taurus stolen. Complainant said he parked the car at 7:45 a.m. July 12 and that it was gone 1-2 minutes later.

3400 block N. Sydenham St. – leather purse and a Verizon cell phone stolen from a 2002 Ford Explorer between 8-11 a.m. July 7.

3500 block N. 22nd St. – five stained glass windows, copper pipes, stove, water heater and a bath tub were stolen from the property between 12 p.m. June 28 and 9:22 a.m. July 12. Complainant said the property was vacant at the time.

 

July 13, 2011

2900 block W. School House Lane – Cannondale bike stolen from the property.

2900 block Wood Pipe Lane – two cars were broken into at the location. Garmin GPS and a messenger bag were stolen from one of the vehicles.

4700 block Greene St. – car was stolen, but recovered prior to police report.

3100 block N. Croskey St. – Xbox and CDs stolen from the property between 4:30 p.m. July 12 and 3:59 a.m. July 13.

 

July 14, 2011

3500 block Sunnyside Ave. – copper pipes, copper wire and plumbing fixtures stolen from the property between 10 a.m. July 7 and 11 a.m. July 14. Complainant said the property was vacant and under renovation at the time. Complainant was also out of town at the time of the incident.

1700 block W. Erie Ave. – complainant said two men approached him, struck him in head with an unknown object and stole his 1994 Ford Taurus. Offenders also fled with the complainant’s wallet, $980 in cash and a cell phone. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

1800 block Brunner St. – water heater, washer, dryer and a refrigerator were stolen from the property. Complainant said former tenants had access to the rental.

4200 block Wissahickon Ave. – LG cell phone, $75 in cash, T-Mobile cell phone and an iPhone stolen from the property. Complainant said someone took the items from an unsecured locker while he was swimming at the location between 2-4:30 p.m.

3100 block Judson St. – complainant said a group of females hit her in the face and body with an unknown object. One of the offenders was arrested.
