3,000 miles later Marine finishes bike ride in Delaware

Major Bill Conner is expected to arrive in Ocean View this evening around six, capping a coast-to-coast bike trip designed to raise money and awareness for injured soldiers.
The Marine left Oceanside, California on April 24, and has spent the last month biking his way across the country.  The ride comes to an end just in time for the Memorial Day weekend in Ocean View, Delaware.

Conner started his trip just a month after returning from a tour of duty in Afghanistan in March.  His fundraising ride will benefit the Sempre Fi Fund, a seven-year-old non-profit group helping soldiers injured in combat or training.

Conner has been recapping his daily treks via Facebook, and his profile page on the site reads like a travelogue with some great photos of stops along the way.  And even though the ride is ending, you can still help support the Semper Fi Fund by checking out their website.
