29 people displaced after fire in Northeast Philly

The Red Cross says 29 people have been displaced by an apartment building fire in Northeast Philadelphia.

Red Cross spokesman Dave Schrader says 26 adults and three children were affected by the Michener Ave. fire, which broke out early Sunday morning.

Authorities say one person was treated for smoke inhalation but there were no other injuries.

The cause of the fire is still being investigated, and volunteers are helping to provide food, clothing, and lodging.
