OMG – Tracking Santa anywhere

A new tracking system is giving people a chance to track Santa Claus on their smartphones.

Users of smartphones can call **SANTA or **72682 on their mobile phones to receive a link to track of the jolly old man as he makes his trip around the world delivering presents.

Jermey Pemble is a spokesman for ZOOVE, the California company that came up with the idea of tracking Santa on smartphones.

“You can do it spontaneously while you are at the mall today,” Pemble said. “Maybe you just finished watching a movie with the kids and just a fun spontaneous thing as to hey let’s see where Santa is.”

The call results in a link to Norad, A US-Canadian mililitary organization who has been tracking Santa for years in addition to its normal duties of warning of impending missle and air attacks.  You can also find the link to tracking on your computer at www.noradsanta.org.
