2012 Imhotep Institute Charter graduation ceremony in photos

In a lively Friday night ceremony at New Covenant Church of Philadelphia, 122 teens went from being students at Imhotep Institute Charter High School to graduates of the East Germantown school.

Among the speakers were Tricia Merone, who is bound for Penn State University with the highest grade-point average in her class, and Alexandra Alston, who finished second and will attend Old Dominion University in Virginia.

Curtis Davis, who teaches history at Imhotep, served as master of ceremonies.
