2012 Delaware State Fair begins in Harrington

This year’s edition of the Delaware State Fair includes a number of popular performers, a microbrew competition, and all the food and rides you can handle.

The fair begins tonight in Harrington and lasts through July 28th.  Headline acts include Casting Crowns, Sugarland, Styx with Cheap Trick and Miranda Lambert.  The Battle of the Brews will draw the attention of beer lovers this Saturday.  Visitors to the Delaware Department of Agriculture Building will be able to learn a wide variety of recipes and culinary tips.  If you’d rather not do the cooking, there are lots of dining options available at the fair.  Daily admission for the Delaware State Fair is $5.25.
