2 killed, 2 injured in shooting in North Philadelphia

Police say two men were killed and two other men injured, one critically, in a shooting in north Philadelphia.

Authorities said an unidentified man was shot multiple times just after 3:30 p.m. Monday, including twice in the head. He was pronounced dead at Hahnemann University Hospital.

Another 31-year-old man who was shot twice was taken to Temple University Hospital by Temple police. He was pronounced dead just before 4 p.m. Monday.

A 27-year-old man shot once was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital in critical condition, and a 26-year-old man shot twice was in stable condition there.

Police said no weapons had been recovered and no arrests were immediately made. Details about the circumstances surrounding the gunfire weren’t immediately available.
