An Android tablet was reported stolen on Saturday, October 1 on the 5600 block of Utah St. in Germantown. These tablets can cost anywhere between $100 and $500 depending on the model. They are direct competitors to the IPad.

October 1, 2011

1100 block E. Stafford St. – 2004 Nissan Maxima stolen.

1400 block E. Johnson St. – two pairs of sneakers and jewelry were stolen from the property.

7300 block Mansfield Ave. – 1999 Chevy Venture stolen.

5600 block Utah St. – Android tablet device stolen at the location. Complainant said she last saw the item when she was doing repairs on her roof.

400 block Mechanic St. – complainant said someone stole $500 from a bag she left inside the property.

Musgrave St. / Belfield Ave. – 1995 Cadillac stolen, but recovered prior the police report.

Unit block Harvey St. – 42″ Vizio TV, Dell laptop computer, iPod, Bose stereo, several CDs and DVDs were stolen from the property.

October 2, 2011

6600 block Ross St. – a man was murdered. Complainant was pronounced at 3:55 a.m. after being shot.

5600 block Heiskell St. – three TVS, two laptops, Xbox 360, two DVD players, power washer and more were stolen from the property.

200 block E. Cliveden St. – 36″ flat screen TV stolen from the property.

5300 block Wayne Ave. – 47″ flat screen TV and a Toshiba laptop were stolen from the property.

October 3, 2011

7300 block Woolston Ave. – silver revolver and a box of ammunition were stolen from the property. Complainant said the items were taken sometime within the last three months.

300 block Vernon Road – 32″ Vizio LCD TV, 2 HP laptops, engagement ring, Sony digital cameras and a Cannon digital camera were stolen from the property between 8:15 a.m. and 4:45 p.m. Oct. 3.

7200 block Ogontz Ave. – Craftsman power washer and a gas can were stolen from the property between Sept. 30 and Oct. 3.

100 block W. Coulter St. – cell phone, Dell laptop and a Galaxy tablet were stolen from a 2007 Cadillac.

6600 block McCallum St. – DVR stolen from the property.

Unit block Penn Court – complainant said two men approached her and stole her iPhone 4.

Fayette St. / Greenwood St. – complainant said a known offender took his iPod Touch from him. Police later arrested the offender after the complainant positively identified him.

 

October 4, 2011

400 block E. Ashmead St. – complainant said a known offender hit her in the head with a bottle of Grey Goose Vodka. She said the woman also pulled out a knife. Complainant was taken to the hospital.

Unit block E. Pastorius St. – grey safe containing $4,000, X-box, three Fossil watches and a drill set were stolen from the property.

6300 block Burbridge St. – 55″ Panasonic plasma TV and pain medicine were stolen from the property between 12:40-6:30 p.m. Oct. 4.

900 block E. Ellet St. – 216 DVDs, Dell laptop, $200 and jewelry were stolen from the property.

October 5, 2011

2100 block W. 65th St. – complainant said two men robbed the bar at gunpoint. Offenders ran off with $400.

2400 block 77th Ave. – 52″ Phillips TV and furniture stolen from the property.

1000 block E. Rittenhouse St. – 1999 Ford Expedition stolen.

7900 block Bayard St. – 2005 Audi A-4 stolen between 3 a.m. and 7:30 a.m. Oct. 5.

1500 block E. Tulpehocken St. – 1999 Chevy Venture stolen.

Unit block E. Logan St. – 32″ Sony flat screen TV and a Pioneer DVD player were stolen from the property between 11 a.m. Oct. 4 and 9:30 p.m. Oct. 5.

6600 block McCallum St. – garage door opener stolen between 6 p.m. Oct. 4 and 1:45 p.m. Oct. 5.
