    When the Eagles try to improve on last season’s success that landed them back in the playoffs after a two year void, they’ll do so without one of their top offensive weapons, wide receiver DeSean Jackson. 

    The Eagles released Jackson this past weekend, having been unable to trade him to another team.  A notoriously bad attitude and alleged gang ties on the part of Jackson seem to have pushed the Eagles to the decision. 

    NewsWorks Tonight Host spoke with Philadelphia Inquirer Sports Columnist Mike Sielski about why the Eagles felt confident getting rid of a top talent receiver in the prime of his career.
