The National Constitution Center in Philadelphia hosted Supreme Court Justice Stephen Breyer as part of its Constitution Day celebrations Thursday. The holiday commemorates the adoption of the U.S. Constitution on Sept. 17, 1787.

Breyer has just published a new book, “The Court and the World: American Law and the New Global Realities.”  In his talk, he emphasized that, as the world evolves, citizens in America and around the world have a responsibility to listen and learn from other societies.
