Study: Achievement gap has real effect on the economy

As lawmakers squabble in Harrisburg over appropriate levels of education funding, a new report by the RAND Corporation points at real impact on the economy from the so-called “achievement gap” between poor and wealthier school districts.  NewsWorks Tonight Host Dave Heller fleshed out the findings with study author Dr. Lynn Karoly.
