Anuj Gupta is the incoming CEO of Reading Terminal Market in Philadelphia
Starting Monday, Philadelphia’s famed 123-year old Reading Terminal Market will be guided by new General Manager Anuj Gupta, who’s stepping down as Executive Director of Mt. Airy USA. He sees the esteemed institution’s success as one of its greatest management challenges.
“One issue is simply crowd control,” Gupta noted. “You come to the market on a Saturday or Sunday afternoon and it’s bursting at the seams. We want to continue to encourage growth while making it a more manageable experience for all.”
Gupta shared his thoughts about the market’s future plans with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller.
