Why forecasters are already thinking about hurricanes

    The weather is finally taking a turn toward the mild in the Philadelphia region, but bad weather always seems to be around the corner. Even in early spring, groups like Colorado State University’s Tropical Meteorology Project are giving long range forecasts of the upcoming hurricane season.

    New Jersey State Climatologist David Robinson joined NewsWorks Tonight’s Dave Heller to discuss how the predictions are made and who they benefit.
