Eva Gladstein discusses Mayor Kenney’s budget priorities for health and human services

    Philadelphia Mayor Jim Kenney presented his budget proposal to City Council on Thursday. Among the usual spending areas, it contains health and welfare support for the city’s most vulnerable populations, including children in foster care, homeless residents and drug addicts. 

    Eva Gladstein, deputy managing director for Health & Human Services discussed the initiatives with NewsWorks Tonight host Dave Heller on proposed initiatives and increases for homeless, child services and other areas.
