Historian commends the accuracy of PBS’s ‘The Abolitionists’

    The third and final installment of the PBS American Experience series “The Abolitionists” airs this evening on WHYY-TV.

    It profiles the hard-fought struggles of the men and women who ended slavery in the United States. The Delaware Valley played a large role toward that end. James Peterson, professor of Africana Studies at Lehigh University, said the historical accuracy of the film is “refreshing.” Hear his complete audio above.
