Violinist Abigail Fayette Graduation Recital

    Violinist Abigail Fayette said talking about playing the violin, “I never really had anything else in my life that I really truly felt throughout my entire being.” Currently Abigail is pursuing a master’s degree at the New England Conservatory.

    Sonata No. 2 in D minor, Op. 121 is Schumann’s less well-known violin sonata and his second violin sonata. This sonata is considered very personal for Schumann because it shows emotion, yet heartwarming with glimpse of lightness and beauty. The movements are marked:
