Secretary of State Rex Tillerson was fired by President Trump via tweet on Tuesday. His replacement, Mike Pompeo will move from his post as C.I.A. director to fill Tillerson’s seat, and Gina Hapsel will replace Pompeo at the C.I.A.’s top post. We’re joined by EMILY TAMKIN of Foreign Policy to talk about what led to Tillerson’s ouster, the reactions on Capitol Hill and in the Intelligence community. We’ll also hear about the careers of the newly appointed Secretary of State and head of the C.I.A.
