The politics of infrastructure

Listen 00:48:48

Guests: Stephen Sweeney, Michael Symons, Nick Timiraos, Robert Puentes

This hour on Radio Times, Mary Cummings-Jordan will take on three different stories related to infrastructure.  First, we’ll get an update on the stalemate in New Jersey regarding the state’s Transportation Trust Fund. New Jersey Senate President STEPHEN SWEENEY joins us to talk about why no bill has made it through the state legislature. Then, MICHAEL SYMONS, Statehouse reporter for New Jersey 101.5 will join us to elaborate on the issue.  And, we’ll hear about how infrastructure issues play into this year’s presidential election.  We’ll be joined by NICK TIMIRAOS of the Wall Street Journal and ROBERT PUENTES, president and CEO of The Eno Center for Transportation who work to develop policy for the transportation industry.
