    The future of the music industry. 2007 was a bad year for record labels with CD sales dropping 15% over the year. But this month, three of the major music labels took a dramatic step in an effort to stay viable, after announcing they would no longer copyright their songs sold on the internet. Will this fuel online music sales, or just more online piracy? We’ll talk with STEVE KNOPPER who covers the music business for Rolling Stone magazine about how the internet is radically changing the music industry.
