The Pennsylvania Governor’s race is heating up with the primary May 20th. Last week Democratic candidate State Treasurer Rob McCord launched a racially charged ad attacking primary frontrunner, businessman Tom Wolf. U.S. Representative Allyson Schwartz has also been taking aim at Wolf in commercials, trying to close his 25-point lead. So far, former state environmental protection secretary Katie McGinty has maintained a more positive, issue-based campaign. Today, we take a look at the four Democratic candidates who hope to challenge Governor Tom Corbett in this fall’s election. We’ll also check in on some interesting Congressional district races, including the 13th and 8th.
